This Refund Policy establishes the official financial, administrative, and compliance protocols governing all educational programmes offered by the Bhandari Institute of Minimal Access Surgery Training (BIMAST), an academic division of Bhandari Hospital & Research Centre (BHRC), Jaipur (established in 1986).
This policy applies universally to all candidates enrolled in BIMAST clinical training modules, observerships, including the Observership in Laparoscopic Surgery (1, 3, and 6 months), Observership in Laparoscopic Gynaecology (1, 3, and 6 months), Observership in Endourology (1, 3, and 6 months), Observership in Andrology & Men’s Health, and the Digital Dentistry Course as well as all institutional online courses.

- Strict 30-Day Cutoff Limit: BIMAST enforces a mandatory 30-calendar-day (1 month) refund limitation window from the date of fee payment or registration. Any application for cancellation or refund submitted post-mark 30 calendar days from the payment date will be automatically rejected without exception.
- Non-Refundable Fee Deductions: All valid refund claims submitted within the permissible 30-day window are subject to non-refundable operational retentions. These retentions include fixed administrative processing fees, non-refundable payment gateway transaction charges incurred via Razorpay or banking intermediaries, and statutory application fees remitted to regulatory bodies, including the National Medical Council / National Medical Commission (NMC).

- Mandatory Regulatory Clearance: Foreign doctors wishing to participate in any clinical course or observership at BIMAST must obtain formal permission and clearance from the National Medical Council / National Medical Commission (NMC) prior to commencing training.
- Irrevocable Administrative Charges: Statutory charges, regulatory processing fees, or filing expenses incurred by BIMAST/BHRC on behalf of international candidates to facilitate NMC approval are non-refundable under all circumstances, regardless of cancellation timing or regulatory outcomes.
5. Refund Application Procedure and Protocol
Candidates seeking a partial refund within the eligible 30-day window must execute a formal
written claim adhering to the following protocol:

- Mandatory Documentation: The email application must contain verified applicant credentials:
- Full Name of Applicant (as registered)
- Title of Enrolled Course or Observership
- Exact Date of Initial Payment

Institutional Review Period & Disbursement

Limitation of Liability & Legal Jurisdiction
BIMAST’s financial liability is strictly limited to the partial net tuition fee received, excluding non-refundable administrative and regulatory costs. All legal disputes, proceedings, or claims arising from fee payments, course cancellations, or refund requests are subject exclusively to the territorial legal jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
